Understanding Your Facial Structure
In order to start getting your ideal eyebrows, it’s key to understand what your face shape is. Brows frame your face so the shape of your face will dictate which eyebrow shapes are best for you.
Once you know your face shape, you’ll be able to use the golden ratio to get your brow shape. Now, that sounds complicated but we promise it’s not!
When you’re learning how to shape eyebrows, you will use three lines. These lines don’t need to be drawn on your face fully. Instead, use a brush to make the lines and mark to points with some liner.
The first line will come up from your nostril up to your forehead. This line will give you where the front of your brow should start. Mark that point with a light line of eyeliner.
The second line will go from the tip of your nose and over the iris. This line will show you where to begin your brow’s arch. It’s easiest to mark this point with a small dot.
The third and final line will go from the corner of your nose to the outer corner of the eye. Once you have that point marked off, you will know where the tail of your brow should end.
Remember, this can (and should!) be adapted for your face shape. If you’re finding that you’d prefer more lift on a round face, try raising your arch. Another technique is to widen the face by bringing the tail out further.

Filling or Plucking
Depending on your brows, your golden ratio may require either filling or plucking. If your brows are more sparse, use your favorite brow product to fill in with those points. Those of us with fuller brows will likely need to do some plucking.
You can definitely do this plucking on your own. However, eyebrows threading is a good way to have some professional help. Your specialist will use the golden ratio to give you your shape.
