Introduction to Chandigarh University
The Chandigarh University, shortly known as CU, is a private university located in Chandigarh.
It offers various programs in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels in different streams. The University also offers lateral entry programs. It also provides various PG diploma, integrated, certificate, and research programs.
Chandigarh University was founded and established in the year 2012 by the Punjab State Legislature. It has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Introduction to Lovely Professional University
The Lovely Professional University, also known as LPU, is a private educational institution located on the outskirts of Jalandhar in Punjab.
It is a private institute that imparts education in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels in various streams. The institution also offers Lateral entry courses and other programs such as PG diploma, integrated, certificate, and research.
It was established in the year 2006. It is affiliated to NCTE, COA, PCI, BCI, IAP, and UGC and accredited to ACBSP and ACU. The University is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
LPU is the largest single-campus university in the country, with over 30,000 enrolled students; more than 4,000 faculties and other staff; and over 200 programs offered.
The institution is also ranked high under various parameters through surveys conducted by different acclaimed bodies and is a recipient of various awards including the “Best Private University Award” by ASSOCHAM in 2017.
The university is ranked second in the list formed by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2018 for the stream of Management on “Outreach and Inclusivity” parameters and has been ranked 38th overall.
